I have a small number of photos published, and I have attached tags to them, in the hopes that some of them may be sold. However, when I go into Art Prints and search on those key words, my photos don't appear. For example, one of my published photos has the tags "subway", "coneyisland" and "newyorkcity", but searching on any of those doesn't retrieve my photo. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any assistance.
To further confuse me, when I search in Art Prints for my published photos, I see that the tags assigned to my photos are sometimes not the ones that I specified when I uploaded them to the 1X site. Why are they not the ones I specified?
I think the print sales partners use their own tags. In many cases members at 1x won't provide sufficient tags, seems a normal process to me.
So in Fine Art Prints it is possible to search on "Keyword". What field in a photo corresponds to "Keyword"? It doesn't seem to be the Tags.
At some stage, the description of to-be-sold works is edited. Whether that's done by 1x or partners remains unclear, but I think 1x provides new . In my case, the description and key words I provided were exchanged. Here's my observation:
What I provided:
The reason I think 1x provides both, description and keywords is as follows:
Nothing to do with what I tagged / descrobed, but looks identical to what Fineartamerica has.
And in fact the moment it is published on 1x, it is available on this site, too. No time to re-enter tags or description:
Both sites recommend then further 1x publications only (which are identical, too), maybe part of the agreement...

Mike
