Hi team
Can you help me with the criteria of photos being awarded? As one of my photo has more than 95 % in both member and expert curation but its still not awarded. Thanks for clrification
Mayank,
The final decision to 'Award' a photo is left to the Head Curators. To see who those people are, you can look in the 'About' section. They don't discuss their process, but there have been 1X Magazine articles about the Curation process. If you'd like to read them, here are links . . . .

Hi Mayank,
If a photo has a high score but was not awarded it is usually because we have seen the motif many times before. Even if it's a very good photo the head curators are very much looking for originality. The final decision by the head curators is an overall assessment where the technical quality, mood, story, editing, colors, composition and originality are all taken into account. The main criteria of 1x are high quality, original and artistic photos, which should be either very beautiful, very meaningful, very moody or preferable all of it.
Good light, Ralf
