I have no idea, if i am writing in the right group. I just made my website here, and when I right-click on the smaller thumb-nails, I can copy the photo .
The photo is about 1000 pixels wide. People can still do things with it, like printing etc.
I hope my english is understandable.....
Why are my photos not protected? Now I have to place watermarks on each photo .
Thanks for your help/advice.
Best regards, Ellen.

Hi Ellen,

As a wrote to you in a separate email, I don't agree with you that 1000 pixels are enough to create high quality prints. We may however implement the option to have lower resolution thumbnails.

It looks like copy protection has been enabled in the portfolios now. Thanks Thomas.

Hi Greg,

The full size images are copy protected, but like Ellen has described, you can right click on the thumb nail and copy the resulting 1000 pixel (on the longest side) size image. Maybe not large enough to make large prints with but plenty large enough for web use. I would like to see the thumbnails made a lower resolution like Thomas suggests might be possible.

Barbara

Hi Barbara,

Yes, the feature to change the size of the thumbnails may very well be included in the next update. Nevertheless, it will still be possible to make screen shots of the displayed photo. If you don't want to take any risks with a photo, you shouldn't publish it on the internet at all.

Thomas
