Wow! I can see now that the last topic over here was about 1 year ago!!

Yet I was thinking that 1x lacks a "Film - Traditional Process" category. I've reverted back to film for the past year and I'm one kind of photographer that thinks film still has it charms that can't be reproduced by digital cameras nor by Photoshop.

Who else is shooting film?

Hi Mihai

Don't shoot a lot but do enjoy shooting film and developing myself.

Use several cameras with the M6 and Hassy 503 being the most fun. However for results the Mamiya 6 or Mamiya 7 will give best results. Large negative/easy of handling.

Overall there might be a resurgence of film, locally a few more are trying it but can't see it coming back in a strong way. I do wish more would try, does teach you to slow down and see things otherwise you would miss.

Hi Gentleman...i am very much into film. I have recently uploaded 2 film shots for curation, admittedly not good enough. Frankly i enjoy the camera i use being simpler in controls (Canon AE-1) and i like that i spend more time making sure each shot is as good as i can make them in camera. (Lot of good android apps to help too ;-) IE 'filmtag' and 'film tools')

Hi David

Just looked at your uploaded images, the one in monochrome is digital, are the other two color film? Look at the info but there was no mention.

If you are able, edit the metadata or what you can remember and will comment on both

Hi Alfred.

Yes i did have pics up before but took them down. I have uploaded a bunch again and mostly not edited. These are all the original from the digital scan of the negatives. There is only two of them i have done editing on, i put basic info of the ones i did something to. And before you ask, yes i do like lens flare. Unfortunately i lost the detailed info on each shot so i cant give you all the info. The one downside of film cameras. The 2 Christmas photos and the monochrome photo are digital, the rest are film.
