Tech specs, Olympus E-5 mkii, 12-40mm f/2.8 Pro lens. 12mm, f/2.8, ISO400, 1/160s, Meikon underwater housing.
I am aiming with all of my underwater nude images to show femininity and strength. I edit predominantly in Lightroom, using Photoshop to remove distractions like bubbles and debris in the water. This image was first run through DXO Pure-Raw 2 before any edits were made. I also use Topaz Sharpening to help clean up files.
I find the Olympus underwater white balance to give me a good start regarding colour, however i would appreciate any comments regarding my color treatment.

Hi Craig thank you for sharing this amazinf capture also thank you for given us a try - I know this images is already published and I'm sure in time it will get awarded - First Class workmanship from photographer and model an image with he Wow factor. - It would be wrong for me to criticise in any way, What I will do is give you my take if this fine image was mine and I wish it was. -
See attached I've removed two hot spots of light at the top I like you are looking for perfection. - Opened up the shadows just a little - Last I used nik Tools Tonal Contrast to hel colour and impact. - Small changes to give you something to think about -

Much appreciatred and I will look at those hotspots. I will also look into the Nik tools, I use to use them ages ago, mainly for my B&W images.
Well done. I have shot females underwater for many years. The challenges of underwater shooting are hard to explain to those that have not attempted this crazy endeavor. I might try a crop that places the model slightly lower in the frame to enhance the feeling of depth.
Hello, Craig Stampfli
Welcome to our forum. I would like to congratulate you on this image. I have never shot an image underwater before so I can only relate to how difficult it might be. I can see that you have mastered it quite well. It looks very artistic both in composition and in terms of technicality. I think that an award lies ahead. Have good light...Cicek Kiral SC....
