I recently took several photos in the museum with the intention of capturing the effect of pictures on people. This photo shows two women observing a painting from different perspectives. One is photographing a small section, the other is looking at the artwork as a whole.
I am interested in the opinion of the experts before I upload it and thank you in advance for any constructive feedback.

Hello Urs
Thank you for sharing this museum photo with us. It's well composed and interesting because of the different actions of the two women. I love the work of art itself too. The only thing I want to mention is the single dark tile at the top of the frame which I think is slightly distracting, but you could crop it without spoiling your composition.
Best wishes, Elizabeth
Thank you very much for your advice, dear Elizabeth. Indeed it will be possible to crop the tile. I will do my very best.
Kind regards, Urs
Hello, Urs
Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your image with us. I like visiting exhibitions as well and I also like observing people attending them. As Elizabeth, I too like the beautiful wor of art on the wall. The woman looking at the picture as a whole has a strong physical essence in the composition. Although the other woman is in a position which we observe frequently as taking a snapshot, the phone or the camera in her hand is not visible. This makes her a weak contribution to the image if you ask me. I think the image would be more minimalistic and interesting without her. I wish uou good light...Cicek
Dear Cicek, thank you very much for your comment. Actually I suppose that the other person was a about to take a photo, but I am not absolutely sure. It was interesting for me to see how two people are looking at the painting in a completely different way. Best regards, Urs
Urs,
I straightend your composition as follows. I made a duplicate, in the original I straightend the lady in blue. After this I selected in the duplicate the background with feet of the lady, brought this back and straightend, did some corrections and made one layer. Theo L.
Thank you very much, Theo! Your work helps me lot. Kind regards, Urs
Dear Urs,
Thanks for submitting your photos to the critique forum.
I join my dear friends Elizabath and Cicek in my appreciation of this beautiful painting. I like to photograph in museums but try to straighten the works I shoot without distortions. I took your photo to Photoshop and made sure that the painting will be with minimal distortion, I also took out the reflections in the painting glass which distracted from its beauty. Finally, I worked a bit on the noise, sharpness, and contrast (with Topaz AI).
I hope you like it.
Good luck
Warmest regards
Arnon S.C.
Thank you so much for your critique, dear Arnon. Your suggestion is another way to improve my photo.
Kind regards, Urs
Dear Elizabeth, Cicek, Theo and Arnon
Thanks again for your support. I made some improvements and was very pleased with the result.
Apparently I was the only one who liked the picture as you can see here:
Dear, Urs
Welcome back. Your image looks quite refined. In the above version I myself am only not fond of the woman taking the image. I wrote about it before. It might be really difficult to get viewers feel as you do about an image. Getting close is also a great achievement. I guess that most of the curators use their mobile during curation. There is one specific reason I do not like the voting system. You get points and you level up collecting those points. I think this leads to faster and mostly inconsiderate curation especially in the member curation. I too have acquired a certain level on 1x but I am still a level 1 curator. This is one of the reasons you'd better send less complex and exceptionally outstanding images to curation. I might be wrong to you but this is what I see here. Few curators seem to care for the actual details and meanings behind it. The minimalist, artistically well presented and exceptional images with striking subjects, light and composition are always highly appreciated. I wish you good light...Cicek
Thank you very much for your reply, Cicek. You address what bothers me too, namely the curation process which I sometimes find not comprehensible. Or that the same or similar motifs are always rated positively.
I experience positive moments and appreciation of course, but sometimes it is disappointing when photos that I think are good are devalued in this way, especially when they have been improved thanks to the support of professionals. Despite everything, I am happy with 1x so far and have learned a lot.. Good luck and thanks again. Urs
