Hi All,
Hoping to get some critque of this image to help improve my photography
is there something better I could have done composition or lighting wise ?
I wanted to have her pluck the rose like the rhyme "he loves me, he loves me not"
The fabric is drapped to look like a toga and we used the flower and hand placement to hide the nudity.
Edited in photoshop
The goal was to have a painterly feel to the image, could I ahve done better ?
Shot on a Nikon D750
Nikon 50mm Lens
F stop was 8
SS 1/160 or 1/200
Two light set up
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi Will thank you for sharing this fine image - I know this image is a published image so i find it hard to advise on improvements - That said here goes. - I see a very high quality image of a beautiful model in wonderful lighting. - If it was mine see attached I would flip the image to face the other way. - Also I've done a small amount of dodge work on the face and rose area.
Hello, @Will
It is a fine portraiy you have here. The light is well managed and soft. It lits the portrait in a partial way that attributes more interest to your portrait. I like the saturation as well. My friend gave you an alternative option on viewing the image. I find that quite fine, too. Congratulations on being pulished. Have good light. Cicek Kiral SC...
